based in the
Govanhill

Glasgow,
is a residential care home, which provides support based on the Recovery Model of care to people
with mental health issues.
We are looking to recruit a
Temporary
Mental Health Worker (Nights) (to cover Mat leave)
who is motivated and enthusiastic to work as part of a team providing safe, compassionate and high-quality care. You should be confident and have the ability to compile and implement recovery plans. You will support people through their recovery journey; and you may also be required to provide personal care, assist with meals or administer medication. You will be involved in promoting independence, choice and encouraging individuals to take part in meaningful activities within the services and local/wider community and ensure that all health needs are being met and their personal outcomes are achieved.
You should possess excellent communication skills; have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a starting salary of £9.30 per hour.
The successful candidate, if unqualified, must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.
