Our Advice, Support & Information for Sustaining Tenancies (A.S.I.S.T.) Project is based in the Bridgeton area of Glasgow. The service provides homelessness support to individuals across Glasgow City.
The A.S.I.S.T. Project offers flexible, intensive support to young people who are care experienced or homeless aged 16-25 years old who are vulnerable or lead chaotic lifestyles. The project provides housing, social, emotional and practical support. The staff team work with young people to identify their individual support needs enabling them to grow in confidence sufficiently to make positive decisions about their own future.
We are looking to recruit a Project Worker to join our busy team who is motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to effectively ensure they deliver safe, compassionate and high-quality care and support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering high-quality person-centred support plans which contribute to positive outcomes for the individuals that we support.
Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a starting salary of £9.30 per hour.
The successful candidate (if unqualified), must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.
