A.S.I.S.T. Project, GlasgowProject Worker Our Advice, Support & Information for Sustaining Tenancies (A.S.I.S.T.) Project provides community-based support to young people across Glasgow City. Our office is based in the Bridgeton area of Glasgow; however the service operates citywide.The A.S.I.S.T. Project offers support to young people, aged 16-25 years old, who have been referred through social work services. The project offers specific support to maintain or access appropriate accommodation, and to transition into independent living. In addition to enabling the young people to develop skills that will allow them to sustain their tenancy, the staff team work with young people to identify their individual goals and supports them to build their confidence and support networks, and to make positive decisions about their future.We are looking to recruit a Project Worker to join our busy team who is passionate about working with young people and has the ability to effectively ensure they deliver safe, compassionate and high-quality care and support.The successful candidate will case hold and will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering support which contribute to positive outcomes for the young people we support.We offer excellent support, training and a salary of £10.02 per hour.If successful and unqualified, you must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.The Scottish Government have introduced a temporary fee waiver to pay for any candidates conditionally offered a post which will cover the cost of your PVG membership (to join or update the scheme) or if you are required to register with the SSSC between 14th January 2022 – 31st March 2022.If you are looking for a new and rewarding challenge, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
