Our
Ravenswood Housing Support Service
based in
Kirkintilloch
provides temporary accommodation and outreach advice and support to homeless households with
additional support needs.
We are looking to recruit a
Project Worker (Days)
who is motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to effectively ensure that they deliver safe, compassionate and high-quality support to the individuals who use the service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering high-quality person- centred support plans which contribute to positive outcomes for the individuals that we support. In addition, you will be required to provide information, advice and support to service users who may have experienced trauma, mental health issues and/or substance misuse.
You should have experience of providing housing support and tenancy sustainment advice within a residential and/or outreach support role and have knowledge of outcome-based models of support. You will be able to confidently provide housing related support and in addition you will work to empower our clients to achieve their aspirations and make positive and sustainable life changes.
Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a starting salary of £9.30 per hour.
The successful candidate, if unqualified, must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.
