Beacon House Project – Cranhill, GlasgowProject ManagerOur Beacon House Project based in the Cranhill area of Glasgow, provides 24-hour support to eight adults who are 18 years and over who have a learning disability. The building is purpose built to accommodate service user’s needs.The team at Beacon House thrive to ensure the people we support are involved in the community, they are connected to community links and are involved in local clubs. We also offer a variety of in-house activities which include Bingo, Arts & Crafts, Sewing Groups & Exercise Classes.We are looking to recruit a Project Manager who is motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to effectively manage one team out of two locations, ensuring they deliver high quality care and support through person centred, outcome focused planning.The successful candidate must be able to function dynamically, lead and manage effectively to the highest possible standards. You must have excellent communication and written skills as well as a high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels. You will be able to manage your own workload and lead the staff team to ensure the service delivers a high-quality, person-centred service to all individuals that we support. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service including financial, HR and contractual matters. Previous relevant experience with the client group is essential as is in depth knowledge of the Keys to Life Strategy. A relevant professional qualification such as an SVQ IV and Registered Managers Award, RGN etc’ is desirable, if you don’t have a relevant qualification, you must be willing to work towards this for SSSC registration appropriate to the role. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible shift pattern to meet the needs to the service and will be required to participate in an off duty on-call system.
