Training Manager (Fixed Terms for 12 Months)
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a
Training Manager
to join our exciting organisation to utilise your experience in training and development for a 12 month period (which will be subject to review after this period). You will manage the training
function including the creation and management
of training courses and materials and deliver user and train the trainer courses within our organisation. You will ensure all staff within the company are trained to a level where they have the knowledge and ability to deliver the highest standards of care. You should have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and demonstrate good communication skills and attention to detail.
Your key duties will include:
•Developing and delivering new training courses to achieve organisational objectives
• Reviewing the suite of training courses currently provided and updating this as required
• Training all new care staff on our Mandatory training courses
• Conducting refresher training for existing care staff
• Reporting on training metrics to the Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees
• Managing a team of Training and Development Officers
Required competencies:
• Previous training experience in social care is essential
• Train the trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, medication, first aid and infection control
• Supervision of team members
